What if stillness is the action?

Be The Change…

Mahatma Gandhi said:

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

It’s a quote we’ve all heard — but when you really sit with it, it lands differently.
“Be” isn’t about doing more — it’s about embodying.

We often think transformation means taking action, yet before movement comes stillness.
Before doing comes being.
Before the next step… comes a breath.

This week, I’ve been reflecting on how stepping into Coaching avec Cathy didn’t come from a push — it came from allowing space for what wanted to emerge.

The most powerful changes in my life have always begun in quiet moments of surrender, not striving.

So is stillness action or inaction?
Maybe it’s both — or maybe it’s something beyond definition.
Maybe stillness is the soul’s way of moving us toward alignment.

◦ The Practice

Find a few quiet minutes today. Sit, close your eyes, and let your breath be your teacher.
Notice what it feels like to be instead of do.
Whisper softly:
“I am already becoming.”
Let that truth settle into your bones — that you don’t need to force transformation. You only need to allow it.

◦ Fearless Guidance (Card Pull)

Akhilanda — The Goddess of Never Broken 🕊️

“Everything happens for my liberation. I choose to become only more love.”

Akhilanda reminds us that we don’t need to fear the moments when life shatters our certainty.
She meets us in the chaos, in heartbreak, in the unraveling — and shows us that being broken isn’t failure. It’s initiation.

When we stop resisting change, the cracks become channels for light.
When we stop fighting to “hold it all together,” we find freedom in the space that opens up.

“We are here to let our ideas of ourselves go up in flame, so that beneath the ashes, the soft core of who we truly are arises, and so that we remember that it's not the heart that ever breaks, it's the ego, the heart only ever expands.”

◦ Discovery

This week, I discovered that “being the change” isn’t about striving for perfection — it’s about living with presence.
Transformation happens in the moment we choose to stay open, even when it hurts.
The desert has been my reminder of that: stripped bare, nothing extra — yet everything alive.

◦ Invitation

Where in your life can you shift from doing to being?
Can you trust the pause, the breath, the in-between?
Write about one area where you’re trying to hold it all together — and imagine what might happen if you let it fall apart… just enough for something new to flow through.

Cathy Dirkx

I don’t just coach women. I help them remember who they were always meant to be.

I’m Cathy Dirkx — intuitive coach, hypnotherapist, and guide for women who are done shrinking. My work is not about fixing you or giving you another checklist of things to “do.” It’s about identity. Nervous system. Truth.

I work with women who are ready to stop performing and start transmitting — their voice, their vision, their genius. Women who crave sovereignty over sacrifice, soul over survival, embodiment over endless striving.

Coaching avec Cathy isn’t self-help. It’s self-homecoming.
